MN Carry Permit
The Minnesota permit to carry coarse will teach you everything you need to know to legally carry a firearm in Minnesota. This class starts with a review of all of the basic firearms safety principals, followed up with a complete understanding of the Minnesota state statute and what you may or may not do with a firearm. Following the class room instruction we will have a live fire exercise consisting of approximately 30 rounds at a distance of 20 feet at a man size target. What we are looking for on the range is safe handling of a firearm, marksmanship is not the goal of this class safety is. If a student has difficulty placing their rounds on target our instructors will teach you how, and this is where we excel. What do I need as a student? Students are required to bring a valid Government issued photo ID. Students are also encouraged to bring their own firearms if they own one. We will provide each student with a course workbook, targets, eye & ear protection, and firearms rental if needed. Private groups, Ladies classes, and one on one instruction is available upon request. Cost is $100.00 per person and class length is approximately four hours.
